Welcome to the world of medical simulation! Medical and dental practitioners at the VAMC San Francisco learn how to perform a variety of procedures, from CPR to cardiac surgery, using life-like robotic simulations.

Shelley Miyasaki is the Assistant Chief of the Dental Service at the San Francisco VA Medical Center.  She is an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon and a practicing Oral Medicine Specialist.  She holds a Ph.D. In Oral Biology from UCSF and a DDS from UCSF.  Dr. Miyasaki works with Rich Fidler to provide Emergency Medical Response training to Dentists throughout the VA.
